Fujairah Accommodations
Unlike most of the Emirates, which are deserts, Fujairah is a mountainous city that is located on the Gulf of Oman in the country’s east. It is the fifth largest Emirate in the area and the only one that is not situated along the Arabian Gulf. The Hajar Mountain alienates Fujairah from the rest of the country by dividing the UAE into two. Although the climate is warm throughout most of the year, Fujairah does receive rainfall, especially between the months of October and March, which enables the growth of crops.

Since 1974, Fujairah has been under the rule of Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, who owns all the land and is responsible for the decision-making in the city.
